This is a brand new show that started on January 10, 2025, and it’s absolutely the best performance, perfect for ending your magical day at Disneyland Paris. It’s a must-see show you won’t want to miss, so be sure to use this article to find the best spot to watch it!
What is Disney Tales of Magic?
“Disney Tales of Magic” is a spectacular show that unfolds on the stage of Sleeping Beauty Castle. Stories from Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios are brought to life with a brilliant fusion of projection mapping, fireworks, drones, fountains, and music that completely transforms the castle.
While much of Disneyland Paris is similar to the Disney parks in Japan, this show is a major difference. I’ve only been to Tokyo DisneySea once to see “Believe! Sea of Dreams,” but the wonder I felt watching “Disney Tales of Magic” was even greater.
What’s the Show Like? The Highlights You Must See!
This show is not just simple projection mapping; it’s a truly “magical” experience that uses the latest technology.

The latest projection technology, lasers, and 360-degree surround sound merge to create a truly immersive experience, as if you’ve stepped into the story yourself. You’ll see inspiring scenes from beloved classics you know and love, such as Cinderella, Encanto, and Toy Story—and of course, our personal favorite, Beauty and the Beast!
2. A Heartwarming Story
According to the Disney Parks Blog, the show celebrates “the magic everyone holds in their hearts” and focuses on the power of universal emotions like friendship and love. The touching story is sure to resonate with you.
3. A Fusion of Cutting-Edge Technology
“Disney Tales of Magic” is a multimedia spectacle that uses the latest technology not just for the castle projections but also for the immersive sound design. It promises a truly unique experience.
Tips for Getting the Most Out of the Show
1. Download the Official App
You can check the exact showtimes and location on the official Disneyland Paris mobile app. It also has an interactive map, so make sure to download it beforehand.
2. Arrive Early to Secure a Spot
Although the nighttime show starts at 10:40 PM, the free viewing area on Main Street U.S.A. becomes so crowded an hour beforehand that it’s difficult to move. If you plan to watch from the free area, I recommend arriving at least 1 hour and 30 minutes early to secure your spot.
3. Consider the Reserved Viewing Area
You also have the option of booking a limited Reserved Viewing Area. If you want to be sure you have a great spot, this is an option to consider. The price was 24 euros per person, but it may vary depending on the day.
By the way, this area can be hard to find. The directions on the app are confusing, and many people around us seemed lost. We had to ask two different cast members for directions, but we managed to arrive at our designated spot about 40 minutes before the show started. Even then, over 50 people were already waiting. As a result, there were 5 to 6 rows of people in front of us, and a tall guy’s head ended up in our photos and videos. If you want to avoid this, I recommend arriving even earlier. (French men are quite tall, with an average height of 176-179 cm!)
