About a month ago, my wife and I stayed at Disneyland Hotel and finally enjoyed the long-awaited breakfast we had always wanted to try.
So, what is the breakfast at Disneyland Hotel really like?
This article is must-read for those who haven’t experienced it yet or are thinking about staying there – so please read to the end and enjoy!
An elegant breakfast with a view of Sleeping Beauty Castle
When we entered the Castle Club Lounge on the second floor (the third floor in Japan), a waiter guided us to a window-side table with breathtaking view of the Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Next to our table was a mirror decorated with an image of Sleeping Beauty, making us feel as if we were part of the fairytale itselt.
An Astonishing Variety! A Luxurious Buffet-Style Breakfast
The breakfast was served buffet-style, and the first thing that amazed us was the incredible variety of dishes.
As expected from the Disneyland Hotel, every item displayed on the table was high-quality, beautifully presented, and felt like something you’d find at a fine dining restaurant.
Here’s a look at some of the items that were served.
First, the breads.

There were baguettes, country bread, madeleines, croissants and pains au chocolat made with PDO butter, and even vegan croissants!
More than ten kinds of bread were laid out, all giving off an irresistible, toasty aroma.
There were also a wide variety of cheeses (including 12-month-aged raw milk dome cheese and aged cheese from Savoie), as well as fruits like blueberries, dates, pineapples, and watermelon—not to mention smoked salmon and much more.

To my delight, there were three kinds of granola too!
(Organic Mango & Cashew Granola, Chocolate Granola, and Red Berry Granola.)
The buffet also featured scrambled eggs, sweet crêpes, brioche French toast, Nutella, a cocoa and hazelnut fleur-de-lys cake, golden raisins, and dried apricots.
And the highlight of all—fresh honeycomb!🍯

It’s something you rarely see outside of specialty shops, and it truly felt like a magical “Disney touch.”
The entire spread was like a museum of breakfast delights—beautiful, refined, and unforgettable.
Our Choices
Here’s what we picked!
I went for a croissant, a vegan croissant, coffee, berries, and granola — and of course, a piece of that honeycomb!
My wife chose a pain au chocolat, smoked salmon, fruits like watermelon, pineapple, and melon, along with grapefruit juice and herbal tea.

It was the first time we’d ever experienced a breakfast buffet with such an incredible range of options, and we were truly impressed.
Not only was there an amazing variety, but the quality of each item was exceptional — it really lived up to the reputation of a five-star hotel.
This is what I’d call true Disneyland Hotel quality.
Summary
The breakfast at the Disneyland Hotel was exceptional in every way — from the service and food variety to the quality, interior design, and overall atmosphere.
In particular, the breakfast at the Castle Club Lounge was a truly special experience, offering a quiet and elegant start to the day.
If you’re planning to stay at the Disneyland Hotel, I highly recommend choosing a package that includes breakfast — and if possible, staying at the Castle Club for an even more memorable experience.
