In my last post, I introduced the interior of the Beauty and the Beast Signature Suite at Disneyland Paris. This time, I’ll share how we actually booked this dream-like suite, its cost, and some tips from our own experience.
Which hotel to choose?
When we decided to visit Disneyland Paris, our first dilemma was: where should we stay?
If you book a hotel in central Paris, it takes about 50 minutes by train each way. That makes it difficult to stay for the nighttime shows that start at 9:00 p.m.
We said to each other: “We’ve never stayed at MiraCosta in Japan, and since it’s our honeymoon, why not stay at a Disney-owned hotel?” That’s how we chose the Disneyland Hotel. At the time, we never imagined we’d end up staying in a suite…
Suites can only be booked by phone!
On the official Disneyland Paris website, rooms are divided into four main categories, from lowest to highest price:
Superior Room → Deluxe Room → Castle Club Room → Signature Suite
Originally, we were planning to book a Superior Room (which already cost about ¥150,000–¥200,000 per night!).
But then we discovered that among the Signature Suites, there was a Beauty and the Beast-themed room—our absolute favorite. Since it was our honeymoon, we decided to go for it and book the suite.
Here’s the catch: Castle Club rooms and suites cannot be booked online. They require a phone reservation through “Disney Experts.”
We were prepared to handle a phone call in English (or French), and as expected, the staff only spoke those two languages. Somehow, I managed to confirm availability, rates, and room types—there are two kinds of Beauty and the Beast Suites: the Junior Suite and the Princely Suite. We successfully booked the Junior Suite!
The call lasted about 40 minutes in total. Not only did they book the hotel room, but they also arranged our 2-day park tickets, various shows, Premier Access, and even meal vouchers at the same time.
That day, I truly felt glad I had learned to speak English.
So, how much did it cost?
The Beauty and the Beast Junior Signature Suite cost €3,338.1 at the time.
In Japanese yen, that’s about ¥580,000! As expected of a five-star hotel’s top-tier suite.
It felt like too expensive, but for us, it was worth it. I honestly believe it made our honeymoon unforgettable.
Important notes when booking
After finalizing the reservation, we were given the total cost and asked to provide our credit card number and security code over the phone.
Since this was through the official website, we felt reassured, but it was still a little nerve-racking as it was our first time giving payment details verbally. (If I remember correctly, we also received a follow-up email that allowed for payment through a secure link.)
In any case, there were no suspicious charges, and everything was handled safely.
Payment is structured as follows: 15% deposit at least 10 days before the stay, and the remaining balance upon check-in.
In summary
The Beauty and the Beast Signature Suite can only be booked by phone, and communication must be in English or French.
The cost is by no means cheap, but the experience far outweighs the price—it’s truly once-in-a-lifetime.
